At Fulidhoo Dive and Water Sports, we start the day the best way: with a two-tank dive! With beautiful dive sites surrounding the island, we’re always spoiled for choice. For those who want to dive the atoll’s channels, we recommend a certification of PADI Advanced Diver or above. And if you don’t have it – why not sign up whilst your here?

A Bit More About Us

A small community-based business offering exceptional dive and ocean experiences to adventure-seeking travellers from around the world.

Fulidhoo Dive & Water Sports is a registered PADI Five Star Dive Resort and offer many PADI courses.

We also offer a range of boat diving choices, with a two-tank dive trip leaving the island most mornings and a one-tank dive available in the afternoon. Situated in Fulidhoo, the dive centre sits at the heart of channel diving territory. The atoll is well-known for being home to many large pelagic creatures, dozens of grey reef sharks, and vast schools of big eye trevallies and this incredible wildlife makes for some high-adrenaline diving! Night dives are a popular excursion choice – especially to the world famous Alimatha house reef, where divers can encounter hundreds of schooling nurse sharks – supposedly one of the world’s largest known congregations! To really make this most of this atoll, we recommend that you are comfortable in medium-strong current.

Dive Options

Channel Dives

Channels, known as Kandus in the local language, are where the real action is found. All wildlife entering and exiting the atolls swim through these passageways, so expect large pelagic life in abundance.

Night Dives

When life winds down for the day on the surface, things really come alive underwater. Our most popular night dive is to Alimatha, to see dozens of nurse sharks up close. We offer this dive about twice a week - so if you definitely want to do this dive, we recommend you stay for at least 5 nights to avoid disappointment.

Hammerhead Safari

Spotting hammerhead sharks is a real thrill for any diver. Leave before dawn and jump in the blue for a chance to glimpse these bizarre-looking creatures. As the best dive site for hammerheads is quite far away, the best way to do this dive is to hire a speedboat, so we only offer this dive when there is a group of divers to split the speedboat rental cost.

Full Day Trips

Feel like spending the whole day on the water? We can organise a full day of diving with three dives and an island visit.

Fluro Dives

We offer the chance to dive with neon lights to see coral as you've never seen it before! The fluorescent filters light up the reef in neon colours and reveal another side to the habitat.

Drift Dives

Take it slow and go with the flow as you drift along a reef wall and observe the multitude of wildlife that call it home.

Our Scuba Gear

We are proud to offer our guests only the best equipment to dive with.

Fulidhoo Dive & Water Sports prides itself on offering guests high-end equipment to rent and dive with. We want our guests to feel that they are diving with equipment that is as good as, if not much better than, that which they would find in a luxury resort.

All our fins are the latest offering from ScubaPro, as are our BCDs, regulators, masks and snorkels. Scubapro is also the manufacturer of our Uwatech dive computers. Our custom wetsuits are produced by Aqualung.

We are particularly proud to be among the first dive centres in a local island to be certified as a Pure Air Station by Bauer, the manufacturer of our 2016 compressor.

Fulidhoo Dive is also a distributor of Bigblue dive lights in the Maldives, producers of some of the world’s best torches, loved by technical divers and underwater videographers alike.
